We do things in the most efficient way, so that you get the most for your investment with us. Ultimately, we are building a community for anyone who works in a law firm or legal department, so we want you to be with us for the long haul.
We have a different approach.
We will not train or consult with you and then leave with no follow up. The job is not done when we walk out the door, because you need SMART goals in order to be successful. We will set those with you and follow up to help keep you accountable for reaching your goals. We truly wish to be your partner.
Practice for Retention.
Our consulting and training approach is based on the latest research in how to make learning stick. There is a real problem with retention when learning is approached in a “one and done” manner. People will remember things for a short time, but if you check in 60 days later, they’ve forgotten most of it when they need it most. We need spaced real-life practice for long-term retention. Also, most people learn by doing, experiencing things themselves, and from interacting with others like them, not from lectures.
We use real-life stories, consequences, and challenges.
We incorporate both guided and spaced solo practice with full workflows presented in easily consumable chunks. We know how law offices work and have spent many years studying the best training methods for optimal engagement and retention, all of which have been incorporated into the Legal Learning Development Network approach.
